This course is designed for students with a passion for performance, storytelling, and the creative process. Building on skills from GCSE Drama, it is ideal for those interested in acting, directing, or technical theatre design, as well as anyone pursuing higher education or creative careers.Students will gain essential life skills like communication, collaboration, and confidence. They will develop an analytical framework for interpreting drama, master twenty-first-century theatre-making practices, and gain practical experience by creating and evaluating three live performances as a performer or designer.

What you need to get on

For all Sixth Form courses, students must have five GCSE (or equivalent) passes at Grades 9-4, which must include Mathematics and English Language/Literature at a Grade 4 or above. Students who have taken Drama at GCSE are expected to have achieved a Grade 4 or above.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
