Students will build upon the core principles of design and technology. Topics such as the physical and mechanical properties of materials, design and sustainability, anthropometrics and ergonomics, and the life cycle analysis will be covered. Students will design their own products, using 2D and 3D CAD drawing packages, before using a combination of hand skills and CAM to manufacture them to a high quality.
