This course is designed to encourage students to take a broad view of design & technology, to develop their capacity to design and make products and to appreciate the relationship between design, materials, manufacturing and marketing. Students will gain a real understanding of what it means to be a professional designer, engineer and technologist. Students can work in a variety of materials and can choose to work in electronics as well as other materials if they wish to.
