In addition it is a fantastic choice for any student who would like to develop their creative and entrepreneurial skills. The problem solving and research based skills you will build on when working for this A-level will be useful for any degree course in the future. The best preparation for this course would be a good grade in GCSE Design and Technology which shows you are creative and have a the basic skills to get started.

Grade 6 in Design Technology or Art and Design and Grade 5 in English

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
