Students are introduced to business through marketing and people, and managing business activities in Year 12. Throughout the course, students will develop knowledge of core business concepts and apply them to business contexts in order to develop a broader understanding of how businesses work. In Year 13, students are introduced to business decisions, strategy, and global business, requiring them to take a more strategic view of business opportunities and issues.

What you need to get on

Grade 5 or above in GCSE English Language and Grade 5 or above in GCSE Maths. Skills required: A commitment to hard work, the ability to undertake independent research, numeracy skills, critical, evaluative and analytical skills.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
