Business studies is a broad and relevant course which explores how decisions made interact with the world around us. We interpret them from a variety of viewpoints and assess the outcomes of those selected for everyone impacted. The skills and qualification gained build a strong foundation of knowledge which lends itself effectively to multiple university courses, graduate schemes, apprenticeships or even starting from scratch and building your own business! Areas of interest which lend themselves well to the course: - Interest in using relevant analysis to make successful decisions. - Curiosity as to how one decision can have multiple impacts and why those decisions are made.

What you need to get on

Five 9-4 (or equivalent) GCSE’s including English & Maths. An interest with applying skills and knowledge to a real life situations to make successful decisions would put you in good stead for this course. You do not require a GCSE in Business Studies to take this course.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
