What the college says

Can you see yourself as the next Mark Zuckerberg or Fraser Doherty or do you aspire to own your own small business? There has never been a more exciting time to start a business venture; with new emerging economies in Asia, and the negative impact Covid-19 has had on the UK economy, there are endless opportunities for the budding entrepreneur. Whatever your vision, this course covers all the key topics of starting and running a business. You will learn how businesses operate and explore these areas in depth: marketing, accounting and finance, human resource planning, and operations management. Students will be offered opportunities to take part in a wider variety of external competitions and visits during the 2-year course ranging from Young Enterprise, IFS Student Investor Challenge (Investing £100,000 of virtual money on the stock market), and opportunities to visit businesses in person.
