What the college says

The course introduces students to a range of challenges and issues faced when starting a new business. They will cover the key areas of finance, marketing, HR and operations as well as investigating case studies to see how successful business strategies have been implemented. Finally, they will look at changes in the broad business environment and how businesses respond.

What you need to get on

Grade 6-9 in Business Studies OR Merit-Dist in BTEC Business Level 2 if studied at KS4. Grade 5-9 in English OR Maths if not studied at KS4.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
