Biology is everywhere... It is the study of living organisms, life on Earth, why it exists, how it exists and how it all works from the smallest molecule to the largest organisms known to exist. You’ll study a wide range of biological fields including some things you’ve already come across like the heart and lungs, but also how your brain works and how you even have thoughts. Biology is everything from anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, ecology, evolution all the way to genetics.

What you need to get on

Maths & English grade 4 or above. Biology or Combined Science at Grade 6 or above.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
