This course is for students who want to continue studying Art and Design Textiles after GCSE. This course is suited to you if you are interested in fashion and art textiles.

What you need to get on

5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above including English and maths. Plus a minimum GCSE grade 4 in a design related subject such as Resistant Materials, Graphic Design, Product Design, Fine Art, Textiles, Photography or Technical Award is ideal. However, if you are enthusiastic about the creative aspects of this course and have not studied Art or DT subjects we would still be keen to hear from you.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
