Fine Art & Design offers excellent opportunities to use and develop your imaginative and creative talents through exploring a range of two-dimensional and three-dimensional media. It combines well with most other subjects, although students looking for careers in specific fields of artistic design often choose to take one or two other visual arts courses.

What you need to get on

4-5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above including English and maths. Grade 5 or above in Art (if taken at GCSE). Evidence of drawing ability shown through a portfolio will be required at interview.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
