This course is for students who want to continue studying Art and design after GCSE. You'll already be familiar with some of the skills and techniques, but the A level will give you the chance to study in more depth and develop your own particular artistic strengths and interests. The structured nature of the course will enable you to develop skills and understanding which will allow you to achieve your full potential. This is a very successful course. Our results over a number of years have ranked our students amongst the highest in the country. In 2024, 100% of our Art, Craft and Design students achieved grades A*-B, which is way above the national average.

Sixth Form Entry Requirement plus GCSE Art and Design - Grade 5 or BTEC merit.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
