You Will Study This course is for students who have a genuine interest in Art and Design. The course builds on your skills, knowledge and understanding gained at GCSE Level. During your studies you will: Record observations, experiences, ideas, information and insights in a wide range of visual forms. Analyse and evaluate images, objects, artefacts and texts. Develop sustained investigations and explore a range of visual materials, processes and resources. Present articulate, personal, coherent and informed visual responses. Assessment 100% Internal Assessment You will complete a personal investigation that includes a portfolio of practical work and related study (minimum 1000 words) and also an externally set task. Future Opportunities Studying this subject is the natural route if you wish to embark on a career/degree opportunity in the Visual Arts or related sectors.
