In Geography, students investigate relationships between human populations and physical environments. You will gain knowledge and understanding of modern issues at a variety of scales whilst being be able to consider their own, and decision makers’ role, value, and attitude towards these issues. We aim to develop an appreciation of the dynamic nature of contemporary geography. The A Level course builds upon the learning established at GCSE, including both familiar and new topics. Students will research information, solve problems and conduct practical fieldwork. Students will have the opportunity to take part in various fieldwork activities including an individual investigation in Year 13.
