2 Year A-Level course. The Further Pure Mathematics module covers Complex Numbers, Numerical Solutions of Equations, Coordinate Systems, Matrix Algebra, Series and Proof by Induction. The Decision module introduces Algorithms, Graphs and Networks, Route Inspection, Matchings, Linear Programming and Critical Path Analysis. By studying Mechanics 1, pupils learn about Vectors, Kinematics, Statics and Dynamics of a Particle and Moments.

What you need to get on

Five 6 - 9 grades at GCSE and a 5 in English Language. Grade 8 on the Higher Tier Mathematics GCSE and grade A/7 in one science GCSE. PLUS Students wishing to study Further Maths must also being taking Maths A-Level.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
