What the college says
There is a focus on Linguistic Analysis of the spoken and written word. Students learn and apply terminology in the analysis of variety of texts, both Fiction and non-Fiction. They will also learn how language changes over time and will learn how to analyse texts from different historical periods. There is a coursework element in the second year, and assessments are over 3 examinations. .
