GCE A Level Dance
at St Birinus School, Didcot · school or sixth form
What the college says
A Level dance develops a wide range of skills that are ideal to transfer to the workplace or into further education. For example, dance students can communicate effectively both verbally and in written format, tackle challenges from any given starting point, work well with others and build relationships based on trust. Dance A Level is a performance-based subject but is equally weighted with a theoretical aspect which provides an appropriate focus for students to critically engage with dance and understand the interrelationship between the creation, presentation and appreciation of dance.
