The Energy Systems Centre at Cambridge Regional College is NICEIC Certification approved in the mandatory requirements for Gas Safe Registration upon successful completion of courses undertaken. Initial assessment is offered for candidates who have previously been Corgi or Gas Safe registered, whose qualifications have expired by more than 1 year, please contact for details, entry requirements apply. CCN1 Initial Training and Assessment is not suitable for new entrants to the gas industry. Assessments and Training Core Gas Safety (CCN1) CPA1 is included in CCN1, this is also available as a stand alone course if required Cookers (CKR1) Gas Fires (HTR1) Meters (MET1) Wet Central Heating/Water heaters (CENWAT) Warm Air Heaters (DAH1) Candidates wishing to extend the range of existing Gas Safe Registration appliances are required to undergo Initial Training and Assessment, this will be discussed on application and dependent on experience; Entry requirements apply: candidates must be Gas Safe registered for at least 12 months. Re-assessments CCN1 Refresher Training 1 day CCN1 Re-assessment 2 days Appliance Refresher Training 1/2 day Appliance Re-assessment 1/2 day Discounted rates available for CCN1 re-assessment with appliances.
