This qualification is designed for learners who have little or no previous experience of maths and are designed to help them develop basic skills in using numbers, carrying out calculations, and interpreting results.
What you need to get on
Proof of id, proof of residence, proof of address, proof of employment, if self-employed then a completed yearly tax return form, proof of unemployment, basic understanding of computers and Microsoft required, English and Maths initial assessments
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
