What you need to get on

There are no formal entry requirements for the Functional Skills Level 2 English course. However, learners should ideally have completed Functional Skills Level 1 English or have equivalent knowledge and skills. It is recommended that learners have a good basic understanding of reading, writing, and speaking English before beginning this course. An initial assessment may be required before enrolling, to ensure that the course is appropriate for the learner's current skill level.
