What the college says
This qualification aims to enable students to deal effectively with the demands of life, work, society and culture. It develops your skills and confidence by helping you to improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills at a level appropriate to your needs and competence. You will develop your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in a number of different ways, practising skills which you will need in your everyday life. You will be taught using a variety of interactive IT resources alongside formal classroom teaching. Resources will be available on the virtual learning environment which you will be able to access from home.
What you need to get on
There are no entry requirements, students will be assessed at induction.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
