Functional skills qualifications are intended to support learners as they seek to improve their literacy and numeracy skills. We assign personal tutors to all learners undertaking this award. We offer this qualification as part of an Apprenticeship programme. Our programmes are aligned to an employers working practices.

What you need to get on

Learners ideally need to be employed or have a work placement where they are able to apply the knowledge for this qualification but this qualification may also be undertaken as part of a pre-employment programme. A basic Literacy & Numeracy assessment will need to be undertaken prior to enrolment to ensure suitability for this programme.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
