Do you want to boost your maths skills and gain a qualification but need the flexibility to study from home? This distance learning course lets you study at your own pace, with regular support from a college tutor. You'll develop your skills and confidence in number, measure, shape and space and handling data. This course is perfect for anyone wanting to achieve a Level 1 Functional Skills Maths qualification and improve their everyday maths skills. Please note that exams will take place onsite in college.
What you need to get on
You need to have established skills at Level 1 Maths and Level 1 English as a minimum. You will need to sit a computer based initial assessment to indicate and evidence your current level of Maths and English. You will also need to have strong study skills to be able to manage your time to study at home.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
