What the college says
This course is for adults who want to improve their maths skills quickly. It is suitable for learners who need maths for work, further education, or everyday life, and who can commit to an intensive three‑week programme. This course is ideal for motivated learners who are ready to attend four days per week and sit an exam at the end.
What you need to get on
This course is for learners who have not yet achieved a Level 2 Functional Skills Maths qualification or a GCSE grade 4. Before enrolling, you will meet with a Learning Advisor and complete a short skills check to ensure this is the right level for you. Please contact your local Learn Devon centre to arrange this.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
