This course equips you with the skills you need to operate confidently, effectively and independently; whether that be at work, or in your everyday life. The Level 1 Award is a nationally recognised civilian qualification, and the level is equivalent to GCSE grades D - G. By achieving your Functional Skills Maths Level 1 you will: Increase your chances of promotion Improve your job prospects for future employment Extend your knowledge Overview of content: Mathematical knowledge - which covers topics such as number, measure and space, statistics, representing data and averages etc. Practical knowledge - which involves embedding your maths in problem solving
