What the college says

The course is for adults who want to develop their maths skills and gain an Level 1 Functional Skills Maths qualification, wish to progress onto a vocational qualification or simply improve their job prospects.

What you need to get on

You will need to complete a Mathematics initial assessment and a diagnostic assessment before registration on the course. You will already have maths skills at Entry 3. You may already have passed an Entry 3 exam.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
