Functional Skills Level 2 is recognised and an alternative to GCSE. This course has been designed to learn and develop your essential skills in Maths. Through studying this course you will develop your skills in a range of different areas of maths, including decimals, fractions, area and distance, alongside this you will develop your skills in how to present data in a range of different formats.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however you will undertake an initial assessment on starting the course.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
