What will I learn on this course? In the first year of A-Level you will explore and discuss the topics of Social issues and trends and Artistic culture in the countries where the language is spoken. In the second year of study you will learn to express and defend your views on Social issues and trends and also Political and artistic culture. Grammar will also be taught intensively in both years of the course.

What you need to get on

Course requirements You need to have achieved a grade 6 in French GCSE to be considered for this course. Students will also need to demonstrate their commitment and interest in the subject. A willingness to travel to the country where the target language is spoken will also help.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
