French A Level is best suited for those students who are: ? highly motivated and committed to language learning ? able to deal with more complex grammatical structures ? interested in the language and the culture of the country ? interested in current and political affairs ? willing to participate in classroom discussions and to express opinions on a wide range of topics both in written and oral work
What you need to get on
? Grade 6 in the relevant language (students must have done the Higher Grade Papers) ? Minimum of four other subjects at Grade 4 or higher ? Grade 5 English Language or Literature
