The MFL Department is passionate about languages and provides students with both an up-to-date, engaging and lively insight into different cultures, as well as a real focus on grammatical accuracy. Lessons involve lots of interaction with the teacher in target language, lively discussions about topics and themes and a focus on achieving academic excellence.

Entry to Hinchley Wood Sixth Form is dependent on achieving 7 GCSE passes, comprising level 9 - 4 grades. A minimum of grade 4 is required in Maths and English; as well as a French Grade 5 at GCSE.
