To enable students to understand a wide variety of spoken and written French and to communicate confidently, clearly and effectively in French in both speaking and writing. To find out about, research and develop opinions about the society, culture and heritage of countries and communities where French is spoken. Most importantly, to enjoy listening to, speaking, reading and writing French! This is a two year course and will be examined in year 13

Grade 7 equivalent in GCSE French, Strong grade 6 will be considered
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
