The A Level French course is for students of higher linguist ability, who are preparing for a variety of possible futures in the spheres of higher education, business, science, medicine, fashion, the arts and leisure. The aims of the course are to develop in students a range of practical skills that will enable them to understand and communicate in written and spoken language for leisure purposes and in the world of work.

What you need to get on

Grade 6 GCSE French at higher tier, although a Grade 7 is desirable.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
