What the college says

The course is designed to be challenging and motivating, enabling students to develop an advanced level knowledge and understanding of the French language and the culture of France and other francophone countries, as well as practical language skills. Over the course, students will develop the fluency and confidence in speaking to enable them to use French outside of the classroom and have the skills they need to progress to higher level study if they choose. Our aim is for students to really enjoy French as well as being well prepared for their exams. We encourage all students to take part in our cultural exchange with a school in Paris; this has proved to be an enriching and exciting part of the course. Some students have also undertaken work experience in Paris.
