Course may be subject to change. Are you living with a disability and/or learning disability and looking for your next steps in education that will help to prepare you for adulthood? The Entry Level 3 Extended Award in Workskills course aims to help young people with a disability and/or learning disability make a successful transition from education to adulthood, with an additional focus on developing work ready skills for progression to Employment or a Supported Internship. You will develop your communication skills, customer service skills, problem solving skills, time management, and independent living skills to support this progression into the workplace. Each student will take part in a Work Placement to practice the skills gained and develop their independence in travelling to and from new places. Developed to support young people, each bespoke programme is designed to meet the individual needs of a student. Alongside your course you will work towards developing your Maths and English, Personal Development and Enrichment.
