This course gives you an excellent transition between A-Level and more specialised degree courses by allowing you to explore a range of approaches to creative thinking and making. Giving you time to learn and experiment in a specialist environment, the course enables you to make an informed decision about which direction to pursue at Higher Education level. The course gives you a broad foundation across the methodologies of art, design and media practice, before you explore an area that interests you in much greater detail. The course is geared towards the preparation of a portfolio of work to support your application to an advanced course.

One of these will normally be in a relevant creative subject. Please note that Home fee paying applicants who are under 19 when the course starts must hold GCSE/IGCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.
