What the college says

"The aim of this course is to prepare candidates for entry into the fitness industry working in a gym based environment. The course will enable the candidates to train to a professionally competent level enabling them to prescribe, plan and deliver safe and effective exercise programmes within a gym or health club environment. The course is recognised by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at Level 2, therefore any candidate that successfully completes the course will be registered with REPs as a Level 2 instructor. This is important as leisure based employers recognise instructors that are registered on REPs as exercise professionals that are suitably knowledgeable and qualified to help safeguard and to promote the health and interests of the people who use their services."
