Film and cinema have been a major art form for over a century. Those who study Film characteristically bring with them a high degree of enthusiasm and excitement for what is a powerful and culturally significant medium, inspiring a range of responses from the emotional to the reflective. At the root of all film studies is a recognition that are made: they are constructed using a range elements - cinematography, mise-en-scene, sound, editing and performance (the key element of film form) - which are organised structurally in terms of narrative and often genre (the structural elements of film form).

Five grade 5's at GCSE, including English (Langage or Literature)
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
