Film studies is the close scrutiny and deconstruction of a wide range of moving image texts, ranging from mainstream American film, to contemporary British and global films, as well as documentaries and short and experimental films. A key feature of the course is to examine how a diverse range of film texts can generate meaning and responses from audiences and can connect people across the globe.
