What the college says
This Level 2 BTEC course runs for two terms, during which you will learn aspects of the media world with a thorough grounding in filmmaking. It prepares you for further study or for employment in the industry. Through realistic, industry-related projects, you will create digital films from first idea to finished product. This includes practical lessons and projects that give the opportunity to develop creative filmmaking skills. This course is a natural progression from our Film & Video: L1 Creative Production which runs in Term 1. You should have English and Maths at Level 1 or above.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
