This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in the Fashion Industry and Textiles. This qualification is equivalent to one A Level and can therefore be done as a part of an A Level programme, giving you the knowledge, understanding and skills that you need to prepare for employment or Higher Education. This course covers many aspects of fashion and textiles and is aimed at anyone who has a passion for creativity. It is suitable for anyone who has an interest in fashion and has a desire to work in this industry. It is a practical, work-related course and you learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.

What you need to get on

At least four to five GCSEs graded 9-4 including English or Maths at grade 4 or above. Students must have an interest in the fashion industry and be creative. Grade 4 or above in an art-based subject is recommended.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
