Note! Not Available as a Free Course For Jobs outside GLA or Devolved Areas. This is a highly rewarding creative subject to study designed for you if you are interested in a career within the fashion and textile industries. The course introduces you to the processes concepts and ideas associated with fashion and textiles. You will gain skills in a wide range of subjects including design pattern cutting and making printed textiles fabric manipulation surface pattern design fashion marketing and CAD. Upon successful completion of Year 1 you can gain the 540 diploma (equivalent to 1.5 A levels) and continue onto the Extended Diploma in Year 2 to achieve the final qualification (equivalent to 3 A levels).

What you need to get on

You will need 5 GCSEs at grades 4 and above including English maths and an art related subject. You will be required to attend an interview and bring along evidence of your creative and written work. Details of any specific requirements will be sent to you after you have submitted your application.
