ESOL Level 2 Speaking and Listening

What the college says
This course is for you if you want to continue studying after completing ESOL Level 1. In this course, you will develop speaking and listening, reading and writing skills. Each term includes all four skills but focuses on a specific skill for the exam taken in that term. When you pass each skill you will receive a certificate for that particular skill. To achieve the full ESOL Level 2 qualification, you must pass Speaking and Listening Level 2, Reading Level 2 and Writing Level 2.
What you need to get on
You will take an initial assessment which will determine your current level of English. You may join this course if your assessed level is just below the standards at Level 2.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
