This in-depth, high-level qualification shows you have the language skills that UK employers and some universities are looking for. This Reading course is for you if you have passed your Level 1 exams or understand and use English at an upper-intermediate level and have very good study skills. In this course, you will develop your English and build confidence as a proficient user of the language. To achieve the full ESOL Level 2 qualification, you must pass Speaking and Listening Level 2, Reading Level 2 and Writing Level 2.
What you need to get on
You will take an initial assessment which will determine your current level of English. You may join this course if your assessed level is just below the standards at Level 2.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
