What the college says

We teach a range of ESOL courses in person in Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest and across West London. We also teach a number of class of all skills and levels online via zoom. We will support you to develop your speaking and listening, reading and writing. We have Functional Skills English classes online and face to face. We have classes at all ESOL levels Entry 1 – Level 2. As part of your ESOL course you will take part in local community activities, workshops and volunteering. You will get to practice IT skills and improve your confidence through conversation clubs and workshops. As well as grammar, speaking and listening and spelling and writing skills, our courses are all about helping you make a difference in life and work. From taking a more active role in community life, learning about your mental health and well-being, and supporting you into a new job, ELATT gives you a full experience to help you improve your English.

What you need to get on

Complete an Initial Assessment with ELATT or a recognised referral partner.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
