What the college says

English & Maths Essentials courses are ideal for adult learners, including ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) who are looking to improve their English and maths skills for home, learning and work. These non-accredited bridging courses will support the development of essential vocabulary and language skills, digital literacy, employability and personal skills for progression into Functional Skills. Learners will take part in a range of collaborative projects with their peers as well as working towards an individual plan for skill development. Learners will build a portfolio of evidence and on successful completion will receive an in-house certificate. At the end of this course learners may progress onto Functional Skills, ESOL Skills for Life or Employability courses at the appropriate level. Please note this courses support the development of your English skills for further learning and not your applications for UK Citizenship. This is available at Entry Level 2
