What the college says

If you would like to build your confidence in using everyday English, develop your reading, writing and study skills and build your vocabulary, If you have passed your ESOL Entry level 2 qualifications, this course is for you. In this course, you will develop Speaking & Listening, Reading and Writing skills. Each term includes all four skills but focuses on a specific skill for the exam taken in that term. When you pass each unit you will receive a certificate for that particular unit. To achieve the full ESOL Entry Level 3 qualification, you must pass Speaking and Listening Entry Level 3, Reading Entry Level 3 and Writing Entry Level 3.

What you need to get on

If you have not previously studied at the college you will take an initial assessment, which will determine your current level of English. You may join this course, if your assessed level meet all the standards at Entry Level 2.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
