These two courses are for part-time learners whose native language is not English, who live or plan to live in the UK and who have little or no knowledge of English. It is ideal for people who want to practice their English in an informal environment and meet people of other nationalities.

What you need to get on

There is no entry requirement for studying the English programme but you will be asked to complete an English Placement Test (EPT) and BKSB test which will assess your level of English and determine your course.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
