Stable Management Stream: This is a two-year, full-time course consisting of a range of subject’s that enable students to achieve an excellent foundation in equine studies preparing them for Higher Education or employment in various fields within the industry. The course offers students exceptional opportunity to gain hands on experience to develop their practical skills in horse husbandry. The two-year course builds skills such as yard management, working with breeding stock and organising events. Riding Academy Stream: This is a two-year, full-time course consisting of a range of subjects that enable students to achieve an excellent foundation in equine studies, alongside development of their riding practice, which will help in preparing them for Higher Education or employment in various fields within the industry. The course offers students exceptional opportunity to gain hands on experience to develop their practical husbandry and riding skills. The two-year course builds skills such as yard management, working with breeding stock and organising events. Riding Academy Stream: Within the study programme students will undertake the learning of the knowledge, skills and behaviours aligned to the BHS Stage 1 Care & Ride qualification. Students who reach the appropriate BHS Stage 1 standard can undertake the assessment within the academic year.
