What the college says
The EPQ can be taken in Year 12 or Year 13. The EPQ is an additional qualification which requires students to study largely independently but with some support from school. Its main strength is that it helps students to develop the skills needed for Sixth Form and university study. Additionally it is recognised and valued by universities and is sometimes included in university offers.
