The qualification recognizes the achievement of Functional Skills in Mathematics at Entry level. Learners who achieve at Entry 3 will have mathematical skills, knowledge, and understanding to carry out structured tasks in familiar contexts, with appropriate guidance where needed. It is also for learners who want to progress to level 1 but currently need greater support to achieve level 1. Entry requirements There are no formal entry requirements for these qualifications. Assessment and grading This qualification is internally assessed by the centre staff and externally moderated by OCR. Assessments are set by OCR. Units will be graded Pass or Fail.
